they sell storage oil type stuff. local speed shop prolly has it, if not its very similar to the stuff sold at garden shops to coat chain saw blades and carpenters blades, etc.
if u use oil instead, u should periodically "massage" oil on part ever once in awhile, oil is sometime too thick and it layers, film of moisture builds between part and oil, leaving strange rusting patterns, massaging it once in awhile helps.
edit: for turbo id go with oil impregnated paper and plastic bag, seal it like the way it comes from the factory...
