Depends if you have a series 1 or 2 RB25DET. I have a series 1 so my RB25DET TPS seems to work with the Q45 TB.

No you do not block off the coolant lines. It's been a while but the one in the back of the motor plugs in and the other I forget.

The hose you're probably talking about plugs into one of the nipples in the back of the mani...one of the bigger nipples.
