Sure they may look the same and my even perform about the same. But the differences are in the longetivity of the products and tolerances during construction. I've bought a few OBX products in my time and when I compare them to bigger name brands, sure they're cheaper but, cheaper doesn't always equal better. For any budget-minded enthusiast I say buy what you can afford. Are you going to notice differences between your Nismo knock off body kit and my genuine nismo kit? Yes mainly in fitment and appearance. Did I pay about 3 times more? Yes. It's really about what you're willing to settle for when bolting things up to your car. Personally I'd rather get a Greddy turbo kit for 3 grand than buy some guys home made turbo kit for 1500 and have the turbo throw a rod and the manifold crack after just one day at the track.

to each his own I guess, I cant see spending 200 dollars to free up 3 horsepower, btw turbo comment was funny, anyway I just spent 1700 bux on my turbo kit that I made myself and Ill be damned if its not just as good as any bullshit greddy one that I could slap on. theres three classes of people, the ones who buy cheap, the ones who buy expensive and think they are getting the best, and then theres the ones that buy smart, it seems that we have an intermingling of these three classes here today,
