injector leak... ECT.. MAF?
okay so I used the handy search function and learned from your guys how to check for leaky injectors by pulling the fuel rail and then turning the ignition on. This is because lately I have had occasional starting problems, but my starter, battery, alternator, plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor are all fine. What happens is my car starts and then immediately dies, then it will not fire at all unless I let it sit for several hours (or push start it). So I did the injector test and none of them were conbstantly spraying or dripping, but I did smell fuel, and injector #4 did seem to let out a couple of drips. It was hard to tell because I did this by myself, so I had to turn the key and then run over to the injectors to look. Is just a couple of drops upon fuel pressurization enough to cause a flooding problem? Is this a cause for concern, or is it likely that my problem lies elsewhere? I don't wanna drop $70 on a new injector if I can help it.
