Nissan of Japan did produce the sil-80. A contact in Japan informed my they produced about 500 cars, but it was never mass produced. I didn't ask about the engine, but the suspension was upgraded for the sil80s. Also on the side windows where it would normally say 180sx, it CLEARLY says sil80.

I know it was produced, so how about you give me info it wasn't sr20vet.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
I've seen nissan brochures with the Sil80 in it. &nbsp; However it was not produced by Nissan. &nbsp; It was Commisioned by nissan to be produced by a second party. &nbsp;Thats why there was a limited production.

Thats what came from an earlier debate I read/participated in a while back. &nbsp;Of course I can't remember where that was. &nbsp;I wish I had saved the Pictures though.
