But anyways, about the two cars? Ummm... Brand new 2002 WRX or a used 95-98 240sx. Unless you are sure you're going to put in another moter (i.e. sr20deT), I'd say the choice is pretty clear. If you're gonna put in an SR then get the 240sx, its pretty rare, and personaly I like the styling better.
