I heard that it was since 95 that the skylines had the impact beams, but I could very well be wrong.  

They didn't crash alot of cars, just a few.  I don't think that justifies the 100% markup on the price of a new skyline, when it's a USED skyline, especially the fact they sell cars with a salvage title.
