well I know back in the late 70's early 80's the hot deal with Fairlady Z's aka 240Z's which actually stayed the same body from 1970 to 1978 was to put Ken Mary Skyline round tails on cause the panel fit almost perfectly in place of the stock Fairlady tail panel. hehehhehehhe and later you would see guys putting Oneline tails aka modded R32 tails on the 180sx till the kouki model came out. History repeats itself, hahahhaha.
They also stuck G noses on, which came off the Fairlady ZG. It was actually a quite rare car, that came out in 1970, specifically setup for Japanese racing with factory fender flares , G nose front end ( looks like a Ferrari Daytona front end) short tail rear spoiler, S20 engine, that also came in the 1972 Skyline GTR, ( 2 liter 6 cylinder, twin cam, triple solex engine putting out 175HP at 7500 rpm). With a 5 spead gearbox and clutch pack R180 limited slip differential, 500 of these babies were made. Have fun even trying to find one today even in Japan.
