the hose you point out is the hose that connects to the IAA valve. the 240 does have a problem with it getting kinda gunky in there. get some TB cleaner and take that hose off an spray liberally in the end of it. you will have to do that several times to get it clean. I emptied half a can in mine. helps that erratic idle quite a bit.
