You brought up a good point about seeming brainwashed. I never really followed her as an actress, but when I saw her on Oprah (that episode that was rerun because of good ratings), she did look very absent, like she was just a shell. Initially I thought she was just shy with a big audience, but now that you bring this up, man...
also, about liking a "different" Tom...is this true? That explains why she seemed hesitant when Oprah asked her, "so how does it feel to be with the man you wanted to marry?"
