I think 944 Turbos (or 951's as the Porsche people seem to refer to them) are bitchin. I was talking to a guy who built one for the 944 Challenge road race series. It cost him about $12K to turn it into a nice little track car (counting buy in, IIRC). Out of the box it was called the best handling car on the market for most of it's production run. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':eh:'>
The warning was the same one from above. Maintenance! He told me, as did the car's builder, that if you are going to buy one - buy one that is in great shape (or already a race car) b/c parts and labor will eat you alive! Personally, I started liking the FC3 RX-7 a little more that day <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='
