Yoshi: I see and appreciate your looking out for me. As I said it is free and yes it will be temporary. I live in Arizona and no it's far from getting cold at the moment, we have had rain these last two days but, stll in the 100's. so should I go for it or no. Like you said reliability: I do not care to get stranded anywhere.

I forgot to mention, I have no system/ stereo of any kind in my car right now, no a/c. the only accessory that is in use is my headlights on at night. nothing more besides the obvious.
