Wheel bearings usually make a whining or a deep whirring sound. Not round and round like maybe...used up brake pads. It doesnt seem like you're describing wheel bearing noise. Can you describe the noise any better? Is it more apparent on the freeway? Does it get louder if you turn the wheel at speed...say like sweeping turns on the freeway...?
