ok here's what it is: whenever the car is cold (bad for 15 sec after start then mellowing out) i hear a strong tapping noise. i don't know what it is and can't get anyone to tell me. it sounds alot like a diesel would really. now after a few minutes of warming up it will die down to the point where it is not noticable, but untill that time it is always an unwelcome sound in the background of the regular engin purrr.. MMM MMM GOOD!
