I installed a Injen intake on mine but I'm sure it's the same. I started off by taking off the stock air box (which holds the air filter), I think there's like 2 or 3 maybe 4 screws that hold it in. Then loosen the hose clamp near the throttle body, disconnect all hoses and sensors (3 hoses and 2 sensors I think on s14). Then just remove the stock intake. Oh yeah, don't forget the pipes going from the air box to underneath the wheel whale. I dunno about your application but I ordered the cold air ext., so all that piping was replaced with that. If you don't have cold air ext. I don't know if you keep it there or just remove it. Probably leave it there to help get a little cooler air to the filter. But just be sure to connect all sensor back or the intake won't work from what I've heard.
