Okay, here's the background info.

I am 16 years old, own a ttZ with 133k miles, and am looking into the possibility of buying a 240, especially if I have bad compression, and because I get in trouble driving fast, but not for having good handling

The first thing is that I can't decide what I would rather have, an s13 or s14. I like the looks of both the fastback and the s14, not really attracted to the coupe. If I want to stay under about 6k, should I just buy an s13, or look for a good deal on an s14? what are the pros and cons of both? is one of the engines stronger than the other, or is one lighter or faster? So far I have been leaning toward a cheaper s13 w/ semi-high miles for daily driving and occasional track use/autox, which i could pay off really quickly and put money into the car to make it insane i hope to do some minor mods to the ka, but keep it more to things that would not have to be changed in the event of a swap, such as exterior, interior, wheels, etc. hopefully in a couple of years i could have a good sum of money to undertake the swap, with the technical guidance of many of my friends.

so, is it easier to put an sr20 into the s13 or s14, and which one should i use, the s13 sr or s14 sr?

where is the safest place to acquire an engine?

what are your opinions on this situation? i have seen some badass s13's, and although i like the s15 possibilities of the s14, the s13 is cheaper.

please no comments about my age, part of the reason i am looking into possibly selling the z is the fact that i don't need a really fast car right now, it is hard for me to work on (tighter than a 12yearold virgin), and very expensive to maintain, let alone mod. a project car might just be more fun and more rewarding in the long run. when i get my gtr and s2000 i won't have to worry about all this

anyway, thanks for taking the time to read all this, and t.i.a. if you respond.

also, where is a good place to look for info? any sites that have answers to many of these questions? i have been to srswap.com and such.
