My $.02 is that, I'd rock all the stock 240sx parts until they either break or fail.
For example, my tailights are no longer sealing, is leaking water into the housings. So when I get a chance, I'm going to upgrade to the Kouki 180sx ones because I like the way those look. If you don't agree, I don't care.
My front bumper is also on its way out, so when I get a chance, I'll pick up the kouki 180sx one to replace it, since I like the way they look. If you don't like it, I don't care.
Basically, all USDM 240sx parts are awesome, and I'll rock it, but there comes a point when they need to be replaced, and that's the only time I'll "upgrade" to something that I like more.
If I wanted a true 180sx, I'd get it from Japan and ship it over. I don't have any problems with having a genuine USDM 240sx.
