so I finally got back to the flares and they are coming along great!
here is the passenger side, the flare is tack welded about 12 times all around, and its super strong, I can stand on the lug nuts basically and hang off the flare and it wont break.
this shot is of the fiberglass resin over the flare, which is necissary for smoothness.
this is what it looks like after about 6 hours of work.
the green is fiberglass, the gray is bondo, and the red is glazing putty to fill all the little scratches and minor holes.
and after primer it looks like this...
its not perfect but tis close to it. just a little more work and it will be...

we sprayed the sideskirts and front and back bumpers too but the camera died, we just have to finish the passenger side flare, andfix a few dents, spot prime and wet sand the car and it will be ready for paint!!!
