Yes, 240s have power steering. Most cars do. However, that doesn't mean they're designed to operate on thick, heavy power steering fluid. Most import cars use ATF because it's thinner, has a higher viscosity, and doesn't breakdown as fast. Plus it has anti-corrosion products in it to reduce buildup and varnish inside the lines and rack. Using straight PS fluid will gum up the lines and increase friction, wearing the gears in the rack and the bearing in the pump.
