Xtant is definately a badass product. But like others have suggested, try using a free-air sub. Don't let the name fool you, yes they sound pansy.. and disgusting, but in your case, it should help.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that enclosed area isn't as sealed as you may think it is...

Lastly, ugh I'd hate to put a sub there. I don't know if the panel can handle a JL W6 RMSing 500watts.


Edit: Oh yeah, you may need dynamatt to keep the panels from vibrating.
