Personally I feel the eclipses have gone down hill since the second(or 3rd, not too proficient with DSMs) generation. 95-98 I believe. The GSX was just such a fast car with adequate tuning. There is a strip here local(in canada, yeah Im that for north) and they have these cars running low 11's and high 10's. They hook up and launch, no questions asked. But when they went with the 3rd Generation with the boat anchor of a V6 and limited to front wheel drive I lost all respect for them. At least they ditched the Grand Am styling with the ridges on the doors. But they took too much styling cues from the audi TT and the 350Z. Shame...
