If its temporary just let them take care of it. They scuff the paint,c clean, then spray. They actually wanted to charge my friend more $$ when we prepped his car for paint by sanding, fixing dents, filling holes, and priming. You should probably just fix whatever dents you have, fill holes, and take it to them and let them do what they do. The paint will look good for about 2 years.
