depends on which vehicular code your looking at. Most cops only know of the "only white or yellow lights can be seen from the front of the vehicle" I was running yellow polarg headlight bulbs for awhile when my HIDs when poof, now im running 3000k HID bulbs which are kinda yellow but not as yellow as before. Never had an issue with cops...i think i got harassed more with my old foglights more than anything cuz those had one of those purple running lights with regular H3 bulbs.
