I wonder how many of you think. If you use the solid bar the jolt from the rocking of the engine would put stress on the inner wheel well and the engine block, but as we know thats pretty solid so some part of the whole configuration has to 'give' and that would do some pretty bad damage on the trans. Were as the concept of having a shock/ damper would release a fare amount of stress that would be exherted(sp?) from the torque of the engine, causing less damage to all the parts listed earlier.
