so i havent driven my car in 3 days and i start it to go to my friends house. drove perfectly fine but on the way there i revved it past 5k and the fuel cut off(i forgot the car did that). afterwards it still drove normally to my friends house. now when im about to leave his place the car starts then suddenly dies. my friend and i are 99% sure that its the fuel pump. i have ran the gas pretty low before many times but i have never let it run out empty. checked everything else and it seemed fine so we are sure its the fuel pump. gonna fix it tomorrow and get a new fuel pump but my question is should i just get a pepboys one? or should i get a walbro or aftermarket fuel pump? and how much do the ones at pepboys cost? could it possibly be anything else?
