I'm not much of a photographer, but I do like to take random pictures.

Here is a few tip.
Lower your ISO.. Why? It will reduce noise in the pictures, higher iso sitting tend to give out more noise(grid/spots). I use 100ISO for a lot of picture and it works the best.

Long exposure... I recommend 5-30 sec long exposure shots, depending on aperture setting.

Use a tripod or something to keep the camera stationary. A slight movement will cause the picture to come out very blurry.

Thats all I can come up for now. Feel free to ask more questions, I'm sure others will help as well....

No Tripod had to use cement block and floor to keep camera stationary. Buddies EK..
