it's probably from the whole 'rained-on engine'.
Best bet - drop your oil pan during next oil change, clean and replace (gives you an opportunity to clean your pickup and check for shavings too).
Then, just keep changing oil religiously.
Water doesn't mix with oil (duh) so it's going to take a long time to get it out of your system.
