I'm considering purchasing a badly hurt 89 240, but before I make another bad investment I thought I'd do a lil research. Hopefully all the knowledgeable minds here can help me out. The car has essentially lost her nose in a TA and needs a new front bumper, hood, radiator, crossmember, etc. but the frame and the rest of the body are straight. I figure since I have to replace the hood and bumper anyway, I might as well consider some aftermarket goods. The engine is supposedly in great condition, won't find out mileage til tomorrow, but I may end up scraping it in favor of something else. I now ask anyone here who can help me: where should I go to find parts for the rebuild and what do I need to look into as far as an engine swap goes. I'm assuming I'll need the usual new ecu and harness as is true with any engine swap, but I'm not too familiar with Nissans so what else do I need to know? Thank you very much for all your help.
