if you have the oem 16x6.5 wheels i would recommend against it. a 225 section width should be complimented with a 50 aspect ratio. and 225 is too big to put on 6.5 wide wheels. how do i know? i did it. yes it will go on the wheel, and no it will not be damaged, but handling will not be optimal. i only had 225's on a 6.5 for a while because i knew i was going to get 7.5 wide wheels eventually. and even then, 8 inch would be better with 225's.
