definately dont beat on the clutch before breaking it in...put a brand new one in my mr2 and instantly started beating on the clutch...15 miles and the clutch surface broke apart...let me tell you...for the extra 4 or 5 hours it took me to take the tranny out and put it back in, i wish i would have known to let it break in before i started using it hard...and it was a stock clutch, dont know if the 6 puck would be even fussier (sp) about break in time
