kazama ends have bumpsteer adjustment too.

i have them on mine, (with nothing else done to the suspension except kazama outers, tein inners, hicas front sway, and rack/pinion bushings-polyurethane)

they seem just fine. i don't see any build up on the heim joint either.
finish on them is pretty fuckin clean, but who gives a damn about that.

if the spl's have bumpsteer, and are like $25 less, just go ahead and pick up SPL's. You could probably ask for some sort of Zilvian discount too, and maybe they'll give it to you.
I don't think there would be a noticable amount of difference switching from mine to spl's.
