''bb4 96'' is right. Different heads have different cooling ports that may not line up with your block, restricting coolent flow. If you have the head off, check the cooling ''holes'' to the head gasket, and match them to the block. You probably are missed matched. BUT, Easy first!!!!! Rebleed the cooling system!!!!! We've all been through that hoop!
