this is the only kind of pin i would consider outside of the traditional cotter designs.

The hoodpins.com ones, have the hole for a cotter pin for added security if it makes you feel any better.

I had planned to run the cotter pins on mine, just because I like redundancy when it comes to safety.

Those aerocatch ones look pretty PIMP too. Nice find chmercer.
