ur best bet at getting in depth info on rebuilding would be a nissan fsm.. on the 240sx... as far as the diffrence in the motors thru the line of years of production.. there are minor... but mostly all the same.... the only real diffrence u can totally see from the physical aspects would be the truck block vs the car blocks..

if i were u, id get a engine stand... take the head off and inspect it...and start from there....

more then likely id just clean the head..fully... and rebuild the block and re assemble...
