This may just be speculation but carb cleaners, and intake cleaners cause hard restarts. Meaning, if you keep the engine running while using it, you'll be fine.
Otherwise carb\throttle cleaner should not permanently disable your engine. The 4k problem sounds like a boost leak, not saying it can't be a mafs problem.

Also disconnect a coupler before the intercooler, but after the turbo start your car rev to whatever, tell me what you get.

Check your pipe work for leaks, if you don't have a boost leak tester, disconnect all couplers then reconnect\retighten.
