What you could do is grab the 2 starter wires going to the ignition switch and reroute those through your switch. When you want to start the car, hold the key to the ST position and hit your starter switch until it fires (which really defeats the purpose since you're supposed to be able to start and change gears at the same time). Otherwise make sure you turn off all your electrical accessories when you hit the start button.

If I were to put one in my car, I would rebuild the ignition switch. That's the right way to do it, but I suppose you could get away with doing it like above.
