Mild editing with
The Gimp to clean up the grainyness and improve the color (so-so camera...), and resized for my desktop. Shot while standing in the bed of dad's truck, right after a much-needed car wash.
The paint is plain Dupont black, a clear coat with Color Horizon "Lightning FX" thunder blue microflakes mixed in, and a plain clear coat on top.
Looks dark blue under diffuse light/sky
Strong direct light reveals the subtle blue glitter
