It's a 4 door datsun 510.
Datsun is Nissan. My 510's sill plates say manufactured by Nissan. The Valve cover on the stock motor says Nissan on it. They used the name Datsun until 1983 because when they started marketing cars in the U.S. they felt the name Nissan sounded to Japanese to market with in a domestically dominated car market scene. The car is a product of the Nissan motor coorporation. I just think that sometimes people in the 240sx world are so new to the car scene that they don't realize these old Datsuns running around are all Nissans, and thus is why we swap engines from newer s13's, z31's, etc. The 240sx is a direct derivative of the 510 actually. IRS, rwd, 4 cylinder platform, and the power plants all have direct hand me down the line striking similarities to each other also. So when you see a 510 or a Z roll up to a 240sx gathering, remember where your technology stemmed from. Roots.
