CaBS is an unknown quantity at this point
Pulled the brakes out and gave them a good cleanup ready to fit back onto the car once the suspension is together.

Pulled the old bearings and hubs off the front spindles to replace them with fresh bearing that I'd installed nismo longer studs in already.

All went back together nicley.

Dust cap tapped back on with a hammer.

All the rear arms reinstalled with the new solid bushes and ikeya formula lcas.

Its going to take some mucking about to get this all setup right for the camber settings I want with as little bump steer as possible.

Took the rear diff out on my own. This was a test of coordination operating the jack with one leg and trying not to drop the diff on my head at the same time lol.

I dropped it off at the diff shop to get the nismo 1.5 way center swapped into this S14 housing with broken center I'd sourced previously. I'd had it blasted at the time but it'd since got some surface rust because i'd not coated it in anything.

Quick trip to supercheap.

and some bodge masking :P

Dug out my billet extended diff hat from storage and set about installing all the bits onto it. I'd bought some new nissan nuts for the two studs on the back also.

As a note this is the incorrect way around to install the baffle plate. It fouls on the crown wheel in this direction. The only photo I'd found had it installed this direction. I was dumb enough to gasket goo the entire thing before a test fit to work this out.

Freshly installed in its new home.

Squish.

Happy with how it looks as far as diffs go! Should be slightly kinder to the diff with more oil to share the heat load too hopefully.

Going to have to run a line up the back somewhere for the breather.

Also picked up these handly little extensions. So I can bump out the length of the LCA and not extend the rear shafts to their extremes. On a side note this will also make it much easier to swap out drive shafts

For the record the diff hat will actually bolt up with the baffle plate installed the right way around

Cups hammered back into position.

More soon!
