Look at some JGTC cars. Most look "stanced" or crazy low, but the entire suspension and body has been reworked so it's functional. I doubt it's been done here, but it's possible.
Actually, there's a whole article about it. Didn't read the whole thing, but it looks like it's pretty well built and they intend to race it.
