Beautiful save on that W201! I can totally relate to that disease though!
I wanted to get it painted, but this car is my daily driver, and by daily driver I mean... This is like my only reliable car at the moment lol--it would've added on another month or so (I was working on it after hours and during my lunch)
I know if I tried a basic prep, I'd find something that will bother me, and that'll lead me to stripping it down, and starting from square 1. I was also under pressure from management to get my car out of the shop, so I finished what I wanted just in time, heh
But when I do get the wider fenders I had in mind (and bumper), I can take my sweeeeet time prepping those on the side and just throw them on the car when they're done
