You can use stuff called "Goof Off." It comes in a yellow can with red lettering and should be in the paint department at your local hardware store. If there's a Lowe's near you, they carry it. It was the only way my boyfriend could remove the pinstripes from the 12-year-old Camaro (from a junkyard) he was rebuiding. If it worked on that, it should most definitely work on your car.
