I'm surprised I haven't found that. Guess I should have searched for something for coolant.
My car is standalone so no maf. 5/8 ID hose will slip over 11/16" threads no problems and it won't leak. There is a small restriction in diameter but at the end of the day it's just to apply some vaccuum to the catch can, nothing overly sensitive.
