I think you just need to play around with fitting different wheels on your car (with tires, on the ground) and for sure roll your fenders!

My car is nothing special at all and I've posted it in this thread once before, but just to give you an idea of what these specs look like here's my car. Like LockOn! said, with 15's and small tires, your car needs to be basically on the ground to get rid of wheel gap. My car is pretty damn low, but plan on lowering it more next spring
