Wow! That's new to me. I'm surprised that the intensity of the H7 is THAT much better than the H1 - I thought you had HID in there for a minute.

Another thing if you go this route is the fact that H7 to D2S adapter plates exist. Meaning? It's all plug & play if you DO decide to go HID. With the H7 adapter plates, the D2S bulb is at the correct focal point for minimal glare.

With the conversion plates that Derux makes, it eliminates the need for any cutting & fitting. After you have the projector in, stick the H7 to D2S adapters in, stick a D2S bulb in, hook up the ballasts & poof. Bolt on HID. Going this route also utilizes the factory aiming bolts, so it makes life THAT much easier.
