I hear you. Yeah, it's that race to the bottom that I feel never even existed for the US car aftermarket (until recently). You couldn't have some random supplier cast you an intake manifold that was a knockoff of an Edelbrock and sell a million of them on eBay in 1985. So when an intake manifold cost $250 in the Summit catalog that's... just what it cost.
