Agree 100%. That upper line is retarded and pointless. Its a distraction. If you mold it properly it looks nice. You block it so that that line is the point of transition so the body line is still their, its just not an actual indented line. You block to the line, not over it.

The only way I can show what I mean is the pic of my old car. Fender and door are molded, quarter is not....for obvious reasons lolol. But its a good side by side. Notice the line on the reflection goes with the body line on the quarter. Makes it look more modern in my opinion also.
