nah.

stuffed some newspaper (the one phlip packed w/ the knob) into the hole w/ a pen.
trial and error til it was perfect. you'll find the newspaper absorbs well, and gives a
super-snug fit. i was very surprised at how well it stays too. been beating it for a
few days, and it's stayed perfectly straight and solid.
