While most of the THC is indeed absorbed by the smoker's lungs,
some is still exhaled and can be taken in by someone close to them at the time. No it is not as strong, and the amounts are not as high as the person actually smoking. Most likely not even enough to pop on a Urinalysis.
However, I have never heard of anyone getting a DUI/DWI because they sat next to someone who was doing shots of Patron.
