I do agree with you on "try to do good and be peaceful" I also ponder your last few questions. I propose another.
What if life is just an entrance exam? As in this is not even the tip of the iceberg. (I am implying some sort of reincarnation) What if some higher being is just testing us to see where to send us next?
What if we are just a line of genetic code and the result of millions of years of DNA and our sole purpose in life is to just reproduce,die, be buried 6 feet under, and decompose?
